The Ram-based luxury sedan can now go 155 mph.
The Aznom Palladium is unique among all vehicles in the world. Under its luxurious full-size attire, you will find the bones of a Ram pickup truck. This includes a twin-turbocharged Hemi V8 version. Although only 10 units are produced, one has a little more power under the hood.
Evidently, the Palladium didn’t have 700 horsepower (522 kilowatts). Aznom decided to modify the 5.7-liter engine and instead bought a 6.4-liter Hemi-V8 engine. This engine produces 410 horsepower (306 kW) in stock trim. However, the engine is not stock. This 6.4L engine gets a pair turbochargers along with all the hardware necessary to make it sing. This one-of-a-kind Palladium produces 850 horsepower (634 kW) and is driven by a full-time all wheel-drive system.
Although the Palladium is extremely powerful, it has a very heavy curb weight. It weighs in at just shy of 6000 pounds, which is not GMC Hummer EVO. However, even with the 850 horsepower for motivation, 0-60 can be done in about 4 seconds. It can reach a top speed of 155 mph, but it is not aerodynamic. The suspension is slightly lower with huge 17.7-inch front brakes to keep the beast in check.
Although the Palladium has the bones of a Ram truck, luxury is the main focus. Rear-seat passengers can enjoy a limousine ride with many controls, and the interior is covered in leathers and wood. This includes the obvious functions like seat adjustments, but also items like the refrigerator. What’s that? What’s that? Your Ram 1500 Limited came without a refrigerator built in? You should have gotten the Palladium.
It is also possible to get one for as little as $1.5 million with only 10 being built.
