This is one of six original cars made. It belonged to an unknown Dutch collector, who bought it as an investment since the car was never driven. It will be auctioned at Bonhams during the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed sale on June 26, where it is expected to fetch between PS1.4million and PS1.8million ($2.17M to 2.79M, EUR1.95M or EUR2.51M).

The Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR Roadster’s heart and soul is the powerful 6.9-liter V12 motor that produces 612 PS (450kW) and 775Nm (572lb-ft). This allows it to hit 62 mph (1100 km/h) from standstill in just 3.8 seconds, before reaching 199 mph (325 km/h).
