The interior has a lot of screen space.
Spy shots of an unrestricted 2022 Lincoln Navigator show new and exciting details about the interior and exterior. This latest update appears to have subtle changes made to the exterior, but fundamental improvements to the interior.
The Front fascia newly discovered This gives us a fantastic look at the new headlights. The new lamps have a thinner profile than the old model. This helps to tidy up the car’s nose. Camouflage covers a lot of the rear fascia and side vents. It wouldn’t surprise us to see the tail lights being connected by a light bar at the trunk.
The biggest change is the huge infotainment display inside the car. The American automaker clearly wanted as much screen space as they could. The Navigator should be able to compete with other vehicles such as the Cadillac Escalade or the Jeep Grand Wagoneer.
Although you may think Lincoln borrowed the 15.5-inch screen from the Ford Mustang Mach E and F-150 Lightning, this is not the case. Sure, it appears very similar to the horizontally-oriented unit used in the 2020 Navigator, but we’d wager that there are improvements under the skin.
If the model before it is an indication, it will probably use the same reskinned version Ford’s Sync 3 operating systems. Important to remember that previous models included Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Amazon Alexa. We expect to see the official debut within the next month, although details are still sparse.
