Sometimes less is more.
We shared the story of an adventurous couple who converted an old Mercedes Benz T2 609D bus to a mobile home. Today we are pleased to share the story about another couple who has given up on the traditional lifestyle of working 60+ hours per week. Ginger and Greg turned their travels into a lifestyle, not just a vacation.
After living in a campervan for two weeks, the couple realized they needed something larger and more practical to fulfill all their requirements for a life on wheels. The idea started with a Ford F-550, a flat-bed truck that was imported from Canada. It would be the foundation for the motorhome. This 20-minute video demonstrates how to transform an old heavy-duty truck into a dream-like rolling house. We must say that Ginger and Greg’s work is amazing. The camper’s main sections, including the storage area and living area, were almost entirely designed and built by them.
It’s clearly the couple’s dream lifestyle, but as Greg points out in the video, life on the road isn’t always all rainbows and butterflies. But it’s still worth it. It can be frustrating at times. Every day, something can or will fail. Every day brings new people and a great community.
The couple plans to travel to Mexico, Central and South America as their next steps. Follow their adventures on their YouTube or Insta channels.
