A Jeep Dealer recreates the Classic J-10 Honcho with a New Gladiator

The Gladiator’s marketing strength is nostalgia.

The Jeep Gladiator has been a victim, a victim of unique concepts. The iconic off-roading truck of mid-size has been transformed by the marque at the annual Easter Jeep Safari, Moab Utah. These concepts are simply too cool for the Gladiator. Even artists found a way to include a retro look to their new Jeep truck. This brings back the iconic styling of the Gladiator, while also highlighting the truck’s timeless appeal. This is however the first time that we have seen it: A Gladiator dressed as a J-10 Honcho trim pack from the late 1970s or early 1980s.

The Honcho was one of the Gladiator J-Series trucks that had been modified to appeal to a wider market. The Honcho is distinguished by its extensive array of decals. It is also very iconic to use the black-and-gold color combination. Both the color combination and decals were elegantly applied to the Gladiator. Honcho badges have been added to some parts of the vehicle, and a tailgate with an embossed Jeep logo is also available. The grille was also painted in silver, just like the J-10 trucks.
