A Lexus LC Price Drop of $5,000 means that everyone can afford it

Okay, maybe not for everyone.

The new Lexus LC sport car is beautiful, fast and deserves a 6.6 rating on our review scale. However, dealers may be having difficulty moving the car from their lot. This year, 1,016 examples have been delivered. According to CarsDirect Lexus offers up to $5,000 off on the purchase of a new LC. This will reduce the asking price to below $90,000.

The total price of the LC is now $87,000, down from $92,000 for a V8-powered model. The hybrid model drops from $96,510 down to $91,510. Although the rebate doesn’t make the LC affordable, the $5,000 discount makes it more appealing to buyers looking in this category.

The deal is not being advertised everywhere and is only available at dealers’ discretion. It’s still one the best Lexus deals to date, even surpassing the $4,000 rebate it currently offers on some leases. The LC deal expires July 31st, so get your act together.

The Lexus LC is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 that produces 471 horsepower (351 kilowatts), and 398 pound feet (539 Newton-meters), of torque. It can sprint up to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.4 seconds, and then accelerate to 168 mph (270 km/h).

The LC-hybrid offers similar performance but with the additional efficiency of an electrified engine. This version is powered by a hybrid V6 that produces 354 horsepower (263 kW) & 369 lbft (500 Nm), with the ability to sprint up to 60 mph in just 4.8 seconds. You can’t go wrong either and the rebate of $5,000 should help buyers who are still unsure.
