Although it’s still covered in heavy camouflage, this could be the new Lexus LX.
Although there is no indication that the new Toyota Land Cruiser will be coming to America, there are rumors that the next generation Lexus LX might also come to America. A new video by TFLnow shows exclusive spy shots of the Lexus LX on the road.
These shots show the SUV being tested in California. The vehicle is wearing Texas plates. Toyota headquarters are in Texas. A Toyota Yaris, also with Texas plates, is the chase vehicle. This strongly suggests that we are looking at a Toyota product.
This vehicle’s camouflage does an excellent job hiding its exterior design. The photo of the SUV’s front is blurry to make it harder for people to identify.
The large grille and high-mounted headlights can be seen in front. These elements can be found on the Land Cruiser’s latest model.
These images show the general proportions of the Land Cruiser from the side. Each vehicle has six lugnuts. The rear is not as visible as the Toyota production-spec Toyota.
The new rides on Toyota’s GAF architecture, just like the Land Cruiser. Rumours claim that the LX750h will be the top-of-the-line model. It will feature a hybrid assisted twin-turbo V6making 480 horsepower (358 Kilowatts) as well as 642 pound-feet (871 Newton meters) of torque. A version without hybrid assistance would make 409 horsepower (305 kW) or 479 lb.ft (650 Nm).
According to Lexus, the new LX will have a better ride quality than its predecessor. The interior is said to have a 17.-inch screen for information and a fingerprint scanner that can be used to start the engine.
The new LX could debut in. It may not be available in showrooms until 2022, if it is indeed coming to America.
