This SUV is well-armored and can withstand a blast from a handgrenade.
For those who require serious protection, the Inkas Sentry SUV is built on Ford F-550. The Sentry Civilian is the first version of this machine that will be made available to the general public in 2020.
The turbodiesel V8 of 6.7-liters produces 330 horsepower (246kilowatts), and is driven by a 10-speed automatic with four wheel drive. Inkas upgraded the F-550’s bones with a more powerful suspension, heavy-duty breaks and reinforced mechanical parts.
The Sentry Civilian is equipped with BR6-level armor. It can take firepower of up to 7.62X51mm from an assault rifle. The SUV can also protect occupants against a blast equivalent to two German DM51 hand grenades. To give the occupants more security, there is an air purifier system.
The Sentry Civilian’s exterior looks like it would roll through a warzone. The overall design is boxy and the chiseled angles give it a edge where the body might have a curve. The lifting of heavy armored panels is made easier by the power doors.
Inkas presents the Sentry Civilian to wealthy people who fear attacks. The interior is very luxurious and can accommodate six people, two in the front and four in back. Customers can choose whether they want an Apple or Amazon voice assistant. Every occupant receives a captain’s seat with heating, cooling and massage function. The partition between the passenger and front seats doubles as an entertainment screen. You can add options such as night vision systems, chemical protection and 360-degree surveillance cameras to the vehicle.
