The Abarth looks mean with its big fenders and hood vents.

The Fiat brand is now in an odd place in America, as the lineup only includes one vehicle, the 500X. Pogea Racing’s new Abarth595 Hercules project is proof that there is still reason to love the iconic Italian brand.

The tuning by Pogea Racing pushes Abarth to 217 horsepower (162 Kilowatts) & 258 pound-feet (353 Newton-meters), instead of 177 hp (1132 kW) & 184 lb (250 Nm), for a stock Abarth595 Competizione. This little hot hatch can reach speeds of 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 6.2 seconds. It also has a top speed of 144 MPH (232 kph).

Powertrain modifications include new engine management, Monsterexhaust’s flap-controlled exhaust, and a 200-cell downpipe. To reduce engine compartment temperature, buyers have the option to add thermal insulation.

Tuned models are equipped with an adjustable coilover suspension which drops the center gravity by 1.772 inches (45 mm) compared to stock. It is equipped with 18-inch forged wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. They come in a variety sizes, and Pogea Racing has a wide selection of designs.

The body of the Hercules is musclebound, as would be expected from a mythical hero. This kit comes with a new hood and big intakes. New side sills are placed between the fenders and make them wider at each axle. The roof is attached by a prominent wing. These parts are made of carbon fiber and Pogea Racing has a range of finishes and textures available, including Clear Coat and textures such as Honeycomb, Forged Carbon and Camouflage.
