According to a salesperson, 2020 Chevrolet Corvette buyers are getting younger

He hasn’t had customers in his 70s.

A new video shows a Canadian salesperson talking about the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette. It seems that the C7’s customers are younger than the C7 and that existing supercar owners are eager to get the new ‘Vette in their garages.

This salesperson stated that 42 percent of his customers are in their 40s and they make up the majority of C8 buyers. In comparison to the C7 generation, he’s seeing a 25% increase in his customers in their 30s. On the other side of the spectrum, he doesn’t have clients in their 70s and only 10% of his clients are in their 60s.
Conquest buyers are also common, with people trading in performance cars like a Ford GT or Lamborghini Gallardo and Dodge Viper. Customers who have a variety of performance machines are also adding the C8.

According to this seller, younger customers seem to be more open to the C8’s mid-engined layout. Older customers will be more inclined to wait for a year before buying one.

Chevrolet produced less than 2,700 copies of the C8 Corvette after the factory was closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The company plans to resume assembly in May and the convertible model could be assembled shortly thereafter. The droptop’s first model year might be 2021. This is in contrast to the original plan of launching the vehicle in 2020.
