Air suspension helps this Chevy Corvette C8 ride low.

Are you happy with the low riding position of your ‘Vette?

Aftermarket Modifications for the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette can be quite numerous at this stage, primarily due to vehicle warranties stating otherwise. However, that doesn’t mean nobody has the ability (or the money) to do it.

We have seen Corvettes with Vossen wheels and MagnaFlow exhaust-equipped C8s that make music when you press the accelerator. Although scissor doors may be available, we think that this is a very questionable option. Hennessey is currently working to install two turbos in the mid-engine bay on the ‘Vette. We expect to see the final product this year.

These modifications are not surprising, as is the one shown by AutotopiaLA. The Corvette C8 doesn’t have a lot of height, but it does have 5.3 inches (135 mm) of ground clearance. It can also be lifted by the optional front lift kit to increase this distance by 2 inches.

This build’s air suspension slams Corvette even lower. We think it looks great and fits perfectly with the mid-engine sports car. According to Alex Lawn, the bags on the C8 didn’t have to replace the Magnaride suspension it came with. The same handling, but the option to be closer to the ground.

Lawn added carbon fiber elements to the C8 in addition to the air suspension. These included side skirts and front splitters as well as grille inserts.

However, he isn’t done with the updates. This C8 will be transformed into a wider-body Corvette with more carbon fiber parts. For the complete feature, please see the video at the top of the page.
