The Milano design is reminiscent of the MiTo, but with some unique touches. Expected engines include a TJet turbocharged petrol engine of 1.4 liters with a 120 or 158 horsepower variant. A turbo 1.75 liter engine with 200 horsepower may also be available.
We get an unobstructed first look at the new Alfa Romeo Milano model, which will replace the outgoing model 147 in the Italian brand’s model lineup.
These photos, probably taken with a mobile phone camera on a cell phone, were posted to Facebook by an adventurous soul. They are now available for everyone to see.
With its oval headlights, sharp bonnet, and oval headlights, the Milano design is reminiscent of its sibling, Alfa Romeo MiTo. It also refers to Alfa 8C Competizione. However, it has a few unique touches, especially in the rear-end design.
We get to see the interior and we can see Alfa Romeo still sticking to the traditional cabin design with circular instrumentation panels, evoking the Italian sports car aesthetic that we have come to expect from the brand.
The Fiat Group’s C platform or C-Evo, will be used to build the Milano. You can choose from a variety of diesel or gasoline/petrol engines, including the Fiat Group’s turbocharged 1.4 liter TJet turbocharged engine with 120 and 158 horsepower. A turbocharged turbocharged 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with around 200 horsepower will be available to complete the engine range.
It is expected that the model will be launched in Europe in late 2009 or early 2010.
These wheels look great. You don’t not purchase an Alfa Romeo because it doesn’t look good.
