Alpha Motors is now taking reservations for a new product. The Saga sedan looks like an extended version its Ace coupe. The Saga is a continuation of Alpha’s overall design by featuring a blunt front, rear, prominent fenders and flat sides. It also has an arching roofline. The cabin has a minimalist design that is influenced by the large, analog gauges and the old-fashioned radio with tuning knobs. Physical controls are also used in the HVAC system. For some modern functionality, there is still an infotainment display. Alpha Motors will offer either single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all wheel-drive options. The range is estimated to be over 300 miles. In six seconds, the Saga can travel 60 miles an hour (96 km per hour) and reach speeds of up to 60 mph in 60 seconds.
Alpha estimates that the Saga will cost between $40,000 and $50,000. This is before the federal $7,500 EV tax credit.
