Luxury living on the Road
This incredible machine isn’t just a cool motorhome, but a luxury touring bus fit for a rock star. This is an exclusive European product. The Scania R480 cabover truck is visible at the front. The truck’s front is actually an aluminum home built by Scania R480 cab-over trucks. It has multiple bedrooms and a full bath, as well as a garage that can be used for a workshop.
This amazing RV was found by VAEX The Truck Traders via Facebook. This rig is currently available for sale by the company, which is located in the Netherlands. It’s not only expensive because it looks great on the outside, but also because it is very well-built.
We were provided with some information by the company about this machine. The Scania truck is a luxury makeover, including high-end trim for the driver as well as the front-seat passengers. The truck is equipped with parking sensors, navigation, rear cameras and parking sensors. Additionally, the original sleeper section of the cab remains in place with a drop down bed. This creates a tiny bedroom in the front of the RV.
As you go further back, things get more luxurious. The large double sliders extend from the living and kitchen areas, greatly increasing interior space. The Scania has a full kitchen that includes a 4-burner induction stove, large oven with full-size sink, and 49-gallon (185 liter) fridge/freezer combination. A large sofa and a 32-inch flat-screen TV are part of the living space. This is one of three TVs included in the RV.
We don’t have details on the bedrooms, but there are master and child bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own TV and Playstation gaming console. The full-size bathroom is shared by everyone. It’s made of stone and has a large, standing-up shower with standard flush toilet.
The Scania has 198 gallons (750 Liters) of freshwater and is well-equipped for handling such situations. The gray water tank holds a 111-gallon (420 liter) and the wastewater tank holds 53 gallons (220 liters). The heated water tank system supplies hot water for both showers and radiant heating in the floor. Diesel generators provide power.
The RV’s rear has a garage. We don’t have any photos, but we are told that it includes a workbench, several tool cabinets, and a small refrigerator. A sink and a water hose are available for outdoor showers or to clean the garage floor after a hard bike or hike. To clean your clothes, a washer and dryer is included. There’s also an air compressor onboard with a 15.8-gallon tank.
It’s a very nice home-away from-home. We are grateful to VAEX, who shared some information about the rig. You can find them at Thetrucktraders.nl.
