The new Outlander will likely borrow bones from the Nissan Rogue including engines. The future may also see a plug-in hybrid model.

Mark Chaffin, chief operating office for Mitsubishi North America, stated that the debut of the new 2022 Outlander completes the reimagining the entire Mitsubishi Motors lineup. “Our partnership with Amazon underscores our brand’s game-changing spirit.”
