An incredibly slow RV hits the drag strip because why not?

Some videos are just for fun, such as this one.

Two races are the fastest drag races. The battle between the Suzuki Samurai & a Volkswagen Beetle would be the first. It was both entertaining and painfully slow.

The second was an unlikely matchup: A Renault Twizy against a Mercedes-AMG GT R. It sounds absurd? It’s not. The powerful Merc reversed the process, which made the two-seater city vehicle faster at 50 mph (80.5 km/h).

With both the interesting anecdotes and the above, there is a new contender to be the slowest vehicle on a drag strip. The Coachman Mirada Motorhome is a multi-bed, extra-large vehicle that hits the drag strip with a toilet seat and multiple beds.

An incredibly slow RV hits the drag strip because why not?

The video description states that the American RV participated in Retro Show 2019’s RWYB. We don’t know what the owner thought. We know that it is quite amusing to see the RV crawl towards the quarter mile mark.

The motorhome managed to cross the line at 50.02 miles per hour, much to everyone’s delight. The motorhome was able finish the quarter-mile in 26.7 seconds. A Dodge Challenger Hellcat could complete the same distance in 11 seconds. This means that if the evil cat were to challenge the RV to a drag race it would probably be able finish the quarter mile and return before the big vehicle. Let that sink in.

We now know, for what it’s really worth, that RVs aren’t built for speed. That’s not a bad thing.
