Arden Bentley ABIII Gives Widebody Swagger to The Continental GT

Arden Bentley ABIII Gives Widebody Swagger to The Continental GT
Carbon fiber add-ons include snazzy wheels, an upgraded exhaust and a number of other features.

German tuning company Arden is known for its ability to enhance the visuals of luxury cars. This latest effort is focused on the Bentley Continental GT. Although we only have two renderings, you can see that the core of this outfit is a widebody kit to fit the already large grand tourer. It’s the Arden Bentley AB III.

Widebody All the Things

The bodywork is made entirely of carbon fiber. Arden adds 50 millimeters (two in) to the Bentley’s profile by bolting up fender flares rear and front. To add symmetry to the wider body design at the front, new side skirts connect to the improved wheel arches. A custom front spoiler is fitted over the existing Continental fascia. A pair of carbon fiber airscoops are added to the long hood to regulate heat. To complete the look, Arden attaches a rear diffuser to the long hood and a plain carbon fiber spoiler.

Arden offers several lightweight options for the aggressive look, with more space in the fenders. A set of 22-inch spoked magen magnesium wheels with staggered 275/35 series rubber at the front and wider 315/30 series tires at the back is recommended by Arden. The renderings may not be the final product. Ever.

Previous Arden Projects:

Arden does not touch the Continental GT’s W12 motor, which already generates 626 horsepower (467kilowatts), from its 6.0-liters displacement. The car weighs in at 5,000 pounds. To help, however, the company sells an upgraded exhaust, which is claimed to improve performance and reduce fuel consumption. We don’t think anyone would be concerned about MPGs when buying a Continental GT, even if it is an upgraded one like this.
