Although it is expensive to buy a track toy, it has impressive performance numbers. It can go from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h), in 2.5 seconds, and 0-100mph (0-161 km/h), in just 6 seconds. This is possible because of the Honda Civic Type R 2.0-liter engine, which now produces 350 bhp (261kW) at 8,400 RPM. This is an increase from the previous series’ 310 bhp (232 kW). It was possible to add more power by adding a sidepod-mounted intercooler, and increasing the boost from 7.5 psi to 11.
The Ariel Atom weighs in at 1,212 lbs (550 kilograms). Other enhancements include Ohlins springs, TTX adjustable dampers and Ohlins springs. There are also four-piston brake calipers that fit onto vented discs.
It is not going to the U.S. but the official importer of the company in the United States said that a similar version would be announced in the coming weeks.
