One of 19 ever produced samples.
The Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato is a rare car that should be on the list. Only 19 DBS Superleggeras will be made by the British automaker. They will only be sold to people who also purchase the DB4 GT Zagato continuation in the DBZ Centenary Collection. This sounds great and is very expensive. The pair will cost wealthy buyers around PS6 million, or $7.8 million, at current exchange rates.
One of the 19 samples (one out of two with right-hand drive configurations) was spotted on London’s sidewalks by TheTFJJ.
The DBS GT Zagato was wearing a blue color, Tourmaline Blue. This was far from the red-and-gold paintwork that was on the launch vehicle last year. The video clearly shows the differences from the DBSSuperleggera including the intricate grille design. The exterior trims, including the roof, are all made of carbon fiber. This eliminates the need to have a windshield.
As the grand tourer’s V12 engine was brought to life, it was captured in this walkaround video. It was driven into the Aston Martin showroom at Mayfair, London.
The DBS GT Zagato’s twin-turbo V12 of 5.2-liters produces more power than the DBS Superleggera at 760 horsepower (567kilowatts).
The DBS GT Zagato was spotted last year beautifying the Nurburgring with this blue color, sparking speculations about Aston Martin’s plans to increase production of this rare supercar. As of writing, the automaker has not yet announced anything about those speculations.
