What is the difference between the Aston Martin DBX vs the Mercedes AMG GLE 63S? Let’s start by looking at the numbers.
Twin-turbocharged M177 V8 is found in the DBX. It can produce up to 542 horsepower (405 kilowatts), and 516 poundfeet (706 Newton-meters), of torque. The figures are transmitted to all four wheels by a 9-speed manual gearbox. This Aston SUV can reach speeds of 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds, and can go up to 181 miles per hour (292 km/h).
The DBX weighs in at 4,949 pounds (2.245 kilograms).
AMG GLE 63 S’s V8 M177 engine produces 603 hp (450 kW), 627 lb (850 Nm) of torque, and sends power to all four corners via a nine-speed gearbox. The GLE 63 S has a speed of 174 mph (280 km/h) and can reach the centenary in 3.8 seconds thanks to EQ Boost. Worse, the AMG GLE 63 S weighs in at 200 pounds less than the DBX.
