We are willing to wager that the paint will look different from this world.
The Aston Martin Valkyrie looks almost like a spaceship on wheels. Its futuristic design makes it a great choice for a sci-fi movie. This car is expected to be the most innovative to come out of Gaydon. As you probably know, it is being built with Red Bull Advanced Technologies. It is too late to purchase one, as the 150 units that are road-legal have been long gone. One future owner took to Twitter to share his plans for this prized possession.
The Lunar Red paint that he chose will contain a unique ingredient, literally dust from the Moon, to emphasize the Valkyrie’s avant-garde style. He’s going all out with his Valkyrie spec. He managed to obtain a real rock from the Moon that he could turn into dust, and then add it to the paint to create an industry-first process.
The owner of Aston Martin’s first hypercar has yet to reveal the exact price of the feature. We are certain he will spend significantly more than his $2.6 million starting price.
Adrian Newey’s masterpiece will use a naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 Cosworth motor teamed with an electric motor to produce a combined output approximately 1,130 horsepower. You can expect some amazing performances from the four-digit hybrid muscle. It will only move approximately 2,270 pounds (1.030 kg).
The Valkyrie could actually beat the lap times of Formula 1 cars on the track. Aston Martin could decide to drive the machine to Nurburgring to attempt a record, and it’s possible that the Valkyrie will just obliterate Porsche’s 6:47.3 lap time with the 911 GT2 RS.
Aston Martin plans to make 25 cars for the track, in addition to the road-legal Valkyrie. You can be sure that these cars will be more intense than the Ferrari FXX K Evo or the McLaren P1 GTR.
