The front bumper has a new design, which is a hexagonal grille, as we have seen on many recent Hyundai SUVs. We also notice the redesigned fog lights, as well as chrome details and a black bezel to the headlights. The mirror caps are silver and have plastic mouldings around the wheel arches, rocker panels, and rocker panels. The HB20X is equipped with silver roof bars and rides on dark gray 15-inch alloys.

The vehicle will only be available with front-wheel drive and a 4-cylinder, 1.5-liter flex fuel engine producing 128 horsepower (95 kW). It can be linked to either an automatic or manual transmission.

2013 will see the launch of a sedan version of the Hyundai HB20.
