Massive new wheels.
ABT is very busy these days working on nearly every Audi model series. The Allroad suffix was the missing piece, but it is now fixed by the new Audi A6 Allroad from ABT.
The tuning company decided to focus on the most powerful gasoline- and diesel versions of the wagon. ABT began with the 55 TFSI and a 3.0-liter turbo-V6 underneath the hood. This increased power from the stock 340 horsepower (225 kilowatts), to a remarkable 408 horsepower (308 kW). This boost is due to a new engine management program and no hardware updates.
The diesel-powered models now have the highest 55 TDI engine with a turbodiesel V6 of 3.0 liters. This is an improvement on the factory’s 349 hp (257 kW). The torque increases from 516 lb-ft (706 Newton-meters), to 560 lb (760 Nm), which is quite impressive for a practical family wagon.
A new engine software gives the 50 TDI an additional 44 hp (33 kW), and 37 lb/ft (50 Nm), of twist. If your compression ignition engine isn’t producing the sound you want, ABT’s Sounds Control program should be able to fix it if that’s possible.
ABT will offer two new wheelsets to its customers in addition to engine upgrades. The FR is available in 20-inch or 21-inch sizes, and the GR is 20 inches. Small interior upgrades include a new engine stop button and shift knob cover with carbon fiber finish.
The tuners will gladly sell you custom-made entrance lights if you still lack that personal touch. These “casually project” the ABT logo on the ground whenever you enter or exit the vehicle.
