A better exterior and more features are always a plus.
The smallest Audi crossover, at least in America, is getting a sporty update. In 2018, the German marque will add a new Q3Sport trim to its lineup. The name may fool you. Nearly all the extra “sporty” cues will be reserved for the exterior.
The price of the 2018 Audi Q3 Sport Premium starts at $34,875 with $975 destination. This is a $1,000 increase over the standard Q3. The Sport trim will receive new exterior treatments such as 19-inch 10-spoke wheels, brushed matte aluminum inlays, and features like a power tailgate and auto-dimming mirrors.
For 2018, the next-up Sport Premium Plus will be available at a price of $36,775 and an optional technology package (an additional $1,200) will add fancy features such as a Bose stereo system. The range-topping S Line Competition package is loaded with features for those who want sporty luxury Q3 buyers.
The $2,000 option adds an extra dimension to the Sport Premium Plus. The package includes a set of 20-inch Vspoke wheels with summer tires, a flat-bottom three-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters and sport seats. There is also Audi drive select, a Black Optic exterior Kit, black roof rails, a spoiler, and a set of black RS spoilers.
The Audi Q3 with the Competition Package will cost you $38,775, which is still cheaper than the 2018 BMW X1 equipped with an M Sport package. Dealers should see the updated Audi Q3 in 2018
