The 196-mph SUV is limited to 96 units and costs a wallet-destroying EUR316,480.

The Volkswagen Group hierarchy means that the Audi RS Q8 cannot be compared to the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT or the Lamborghini Urus. Tuners will gladly take Ingolstadt’s flagship SUV up to the next level if you prefer the model with the Four Rings to the models from Zuffenhausen or Sant’Agata Bolognese. ABT’s Signature Edition will be a supercar version of the SUV.

The RSQ8 is billed as a “Racing Utility Vehicle” and boasts a twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V8 with 790 horsepower (or 589 kilowatts). The torque is also up substantially, reaching four figures at 1,000 Nm (738 Lb-ft). Audi’s luxobarge, which is boosted by aftermarket muscle, can reach 62 mph (100 km/h), from a standstill, in 3.2 seconds. This cuts down on the official sprint time by 0.6 seconds. It can reach 196 mph (315 km/h) flat out.

ABT modified the turbos and intercoolers, as well as remapped ECU to unlock these numbers. A stainless steel exhaust system was also modified with quad tips that measure 105mm in diameter. Carbon fiber can be found everywhere, even on the aerodynamic body kit.

ABT’s RS Q8 upgrade body features a variety of accessories, including a prominent front splitter and a rear diffuser. Side profile shows beefier skirts, 23-inch wheels and 295/35R23 tires. Carbon fiber has been used on the hood latch, sides and back of the console, as well as the interior.

The performance SUV isn’t exactly affordable, as you might expect. For the package, the Kempten-based tuner asks EUR129,900 ($136,000.00 at current exchange rates). The car is included in the package, which costs EUR316,480 (333,000). As a tribute to 1896, only 96 Audi RS Q8s are being converted to the Signature Edition.

They will be assembled manually at a speed of eight vehicles per month.
