The look can be completed with an optional aerodynamics package.

ABT Sportsline offers a new performance package for Audi’s RS3 sedan. It adds power as well as cosmetic upgrades. The Audi RS3 sedan is capable of producing 400 horsepower and 354 pound feet of torque thanks to its turbocharged 2.5-liter turbo-charged engine. ABT however, considers 400 horsepower amateur hour.

ABT’s Audi R3 produces 500 horsepower and 420 lb-ft torque. This is quite a boost. ABT achieves this by adding an ABT Engine Control (AEC), which is a unit that the company designs in-house. The tuner added some performance parts to the AEC unit, which is an absolute necessity.

To boost the power, the tuner features an ABT intercooler as well as an ABT stainless steel exhaust system. All three components are wrapped in the ABT Power R package by the company. The sedan can reach speeds of 186 mph and has a zero-to-60 mph time of just 3.7 seconds. The RS3 sedan’s AEC unit produces 460 hp, 390 lbft of torque and a top speed at 174 mph.

ABT also offers an optional aerodynamics package, which includes several ABT-branded parts, such as a front lips, grille add on, rear skirt set and fender inserts. ABT’s muffler system is also included with the car. It has two double pipes measuring 102 millimeters in length and are finished in black chrome. This is not all. ABT upgrades suspension with its own parts. This includes ABT suspension springs, anti-roll bars and other components. German tuners also offer a brake upgrade kit and the option of either 19- or 20 inch wheels.

Interior options are also available on the tuner. The interior of the ABT example has carbon-fiber parts throughout, including the steering wheel as well as the seat bases. The front-seat headrests have “ABT” embossed.

The Audi RS3 sedan already has the reputation of being a sleeper sedan. Its true performance is better known than its competitors thanks to the addition of ABT bits.
