Audi RS4 Avant Shows Sonoma Green Paint in A Winter Wonderland

A forbidden, but delicious fruit.

The new Audi RS4 avant is a desirable car that money can afford right now. But not here in the USA, where we are only getting the RS5 Coupe. This car is the perfect vehicle for many people. It is fast, luxurious, practical and easy to drive. You can add a unique paint like this Sonoma Green Metallic (EUR890 in Germany) to increase its appeal.

Auditography was a friend and photographer who took the first steps to immortalize Ingolstadt’s new hot wagon. They also traveled to Austria to photograph the Gerlos Pass in Austria. This promo car was provided by Audi Deutschland. It’s not surprising that it wasn’t a regular RS4 Avant to demonstrate some of the possibilities a customer has with the configurator.

The RS4 Avant offers a biturbo 2.9 liter V6 regardless of whether you pay EUR79,800 for the base model in Germany or EUR100,000. The naturally aspirated V8 has been discontinued, but the engine produces more torque and more horsepower than its predecessor.

The RS4 Avant, like all Audi Sport cars (except for the limited-edition rear-wheel-drive HTML10 RWS), gets Quattro as a standard feature, making it winter-ready. This Sonoma Green example can be seen playing in the snow to test the all-paw system. At one point, the wagon’s high-performance speed reaches 214 km/h (133 mph). The family hauler, which can reach speeds of 155 mph (250 kph), and even 174 mph (281 kph), when equipped with the RS Dynamic package.

The RS4 Avant isn’t currently on the road to the USA, but there is a possibility that a similar RS model with back doors will be available. The long-rumored RS5 Sportback was spotted as an S5 in August 2017. It had the RS-specific oval exhaust tips, wider fenders and wider fenders. Let’s hope it happens.
