Audi RS6 Avant Tactical green with ABT Mods Borders on Perfection

Are wagons boring? You might be wrong.

We love wagons, especially when we have a fast-estate in a special color such as Tactical Green. This Audi Exclusive paint job will make this RS6 Avant forget all the RS SUVs with the Four Rings. This car is a practical and functional family car. It also has a twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V8. ABT has massaged the 4.0-liter engine in this instance.

The mild-hybrid powertrain was increased to 700 horsepower and 880 Nm (650lb-ft of torque) by the German tuner. This enabled a 0-60 mph (100 km/h), in just 3.1 seconds. It should reach 200 mph (322 km/h) flat out. ABT applied a subtle carbon fibre aero body kit to the RS6 Avant, although it was not immediately apparent. Our friend took the brand-new speedy wagon to Amsterdam and showed off its many mods.

Audi Sport’s traditional dual oval exhaust tips have been replaced with ABT’s quad stainless steel setup. These large finishers, measuring 102mm in diameter, stick out from the body. We like the black wheels but they look great with dark badges and add-ons. A height-adjustable suspension has brought the RS6 Avant closer to the road by 25 millimeters (one in) at its front and 30 mm (1.25 in) at its rear.

ABT will happily crank the RS6 Avant to a hefty 740 hp (679 lb-ft) and 920 Nm (679 lb.-ft) This Tactical Green example was built for Europe and has the dreaded soft limiter (OPF), as well as a gasoline particulate filter to keep it street legal. However, it sounds quite brutal when the car is stationary.

Audi has an all electric RS6 in the works. Oliver Hoffman, technical development manager at Audi, has confirmed that the A6 Avant E-Tron Concept will be in production by the end of this decade.
