The new flagship S8 is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo TFSI twin-turbo V8 that produces 520 PS (382kW / 513bhp) as well as 650 Nm (479.42lb-ft).

The Audi S8 is in Frankfurt ahead of its public debut at Frankfurt Motor Show in two weeks. It is sporting some impressive figures.

The 4.0-liter TFSI twin-turbo V8 engine powers the S8. It produces 520 PS (382kW / 513bhp) as well as 650 Nm (479.42 lbft). The transmission is the 8-speed Tiptronic. Together, the engine and the gearbox allow the S8 accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 miles/h) in just 4.2 seconds. Top speed on the (Quattro) all-wheel drive S8 is electronically-limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).

Audi’s “cylinder on Demand” cylinder activation technology is also adapted to the S8. This helps it achieve a fuel-economy figure 10.2 liters/100 km.

The S8 features adaptive air suspension with variable damping. The standard wheels come in the 9J x 20 inch rims with 265/40R20 rubber tires. There are also four 21-inch options.

The flagship range-topper features multi-way, powered comfort seats that are specifically designed for the S8. There are also a variety lush finishes.

The S8’s 360-degree parking system features four cameras that capture an all-round view of the vehicle, while a computer stitches the images together to display the information on the screen.
