Holy Mother of the Diesel God: 1,038 Nm
The Audi SQ7 TDI diesel SUV is the most powerful. It has a massive 435 horsepower (320 kilowatts) as well as 900 Newton-meters (664 pound feet) of torque. The same TDI 4.0 liter engine can be found in the Bentley Bentayga Diesel. Both engines offer mountain-moving torque starting at an impressively low 1000 rpm.
ABT’s tuners weren’t satisfied with the engine’s output so they decided to modify the diesel engine to get more power out of the V8 with an electric compressor. The ABT Power S kit can make the largest SUV from Audi a staggering 520 horsepower (382 kW) or 970 Nm (715 Lb-ft). Two tenths of seconds has been cut from the sprint to 62 MPH (100 Kph) by the new engine. This now takes only 4.6 seconds. Electronically controlled top speed remains at 155 mph (253 kph).
This is not an ordinary Audi Q7, it’s a limited edition SUV with Vossen forged wheels. It’s also equipped with a matte-blue body wrap. YouTube’s charismatic Marchettino was able to take the wheel of the diesel luxurybarge to see what it’s like having so much torque at your disposal. This vehicle also had an amazing 1,038 Nm (765lb-ft) of torque.
The diesel-powered Q7 engine optimized by ABT sounds great, but there is a sound generator that makes fake noises through the cabin. TDI badges are usually associated with low fuel consumption. However, this is not the case. Marchettino found that the V8’s high-revving, thirsty engine used on average 20 liters per 100 km. This works out to 11.7 miles per gallon. It’s a price you have to pay for four-digit torque.
At current exchange rates, it’s EUR216,000. That’s about $266,000. You could purchase an R8 RWS for $140,000, a TT RS (64,900) and an RS3 Sedan (54,900) and still have approximately $6,500 to pay for gas.
