Only the six-speed dual-clutch S tronic transmission can you get the Quattro + Diesel combo.
Audi mentioning the fact that one in every two TTs is equipped with an all-wheel drive layout, we are left wondering what it took for them to offer the sleek coupe and roadster with a TDI-powered Quattro version. It’s better late than never, right! This model is only available with the six-speed dual-clutch Stronic gearbox that sends 184 horsepower (135 Kilowatts) to both axles and 280 pound feet (380 Newton-meters).
The 2017 Audi TT Coupe 2.0 TDI quetro S tronic is used in this configuration. The pictured car can reach speeds of 62 mph (101.0 kph) and will accelerate to its maximum speed of 145mph (234 km/h). The Roadster is slightly heavier and takes an extra 3/10ths of a second for the sprint. It will reach 143 mph (230 km/h).
This turbodiesel 2.0-liter engine should make it very fuel efficient. Audi claims the coupe will consume 5.2 liters/100 km, which is equivalent to 45.2 U.S. MPG and CO2 emissions of 137g/km. The droptop model is a little more thirsty, consuming 5.4 liters per 100 km (43.6 mpg) while emitting 142 g/km CO2.
Ingolstadt is now accepting orders for the new member to the TT family. They are asking EUR41 250 for the coupe and EUR43650 for the roadster. You can also choose between comfort, auto, dynamic and efficiency driving modes with the Audi drive select dynamic system.
The Audi TT 2.0 TDI queattro S tronic will be available to customers in both body styles at the start of next year.
The Audi TT family now includes seven engine/transmission models, five of them with a TSI gasoline engine, and a Quattro powered TDI version.
