Bentley revealed this weekend at the Australian GP a limited edition Continental GT called “Black Speed”, which was created with the help of the company’s bespoke Mulliner Division. The images show a left-hand drive vehicle. However, the new Continental GT special edition was made for Australia and New Zealand, which are both RHD markets. There will only be ten of these cars ever made. All will have a sinister appearance, with tinted taillights and headlights, hand-painted pinstripe and shiny black 21-inch wheels.
Red accents are used on both the exterior and interior. You can also choose a carbon ceramic package, sourced from the hardcore Continental GT3R. Red and black are the main colors of the cabin. There is “Black Speed” lettering on the headrests and aluminum trim. Also, red highlights for the Breitling clocks and other surfaces. The Bentley Continental GT Black Speed is available starting this week with the powerful W12 engine. It starts at $525,000 in Australia. You can get it all for $600,000. It also comes with all of the optional goodies such as the $20,000 carbon ceramic brakes. David Simpson, Bentley’s Asia Pacific Sales Manager, said that the special edition is “probably the most aggressive car we’ve ever made.” The limited-run model was born out of customer feedback. Many from the Land Down Under had asked Bentley to make a more aggressive Continental GT Speed.
