Shmee is making some changes to the naturally aspirated supercar, aside from giving it a new look and a protective film. To complement the rest of the lightweight materials, the ultimate SLS will also get carbon fiber side sills and mirror caps. The optional black wheels will likely be replaced with silver ones, along with new tires, as the current Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubber on the car is five years old.
Shmee may also make actual mechanical changes to his performance coupe, as the SLS AMG Black Series could swap the standard exhaust system for a Renntech setup that provides a more mellow soundtrack.
A new Black Series Mercedes-AMG will soon introduce the final hurrah for the first-generation GT. It will be based on the SLS’s design, which means more power and less weight for a low-volume production vehicle with a high price tag.
