There’s also a wine rack and a full bathroom. The living room has seating for six around the large dining table.
It is essential to make a camper van out of a large vehicle such as a long-wheelbase Mercedes Benz Sprinter. The new project by UK-based Van Life Builders is not only clever but also very good. This interior could be the most beautiful and spacious we have ever seen inside a van-based campervan.
This van was a former delivery vehicle, believe it or not. Van Life Builds was approached by the client who wanted something Icelandic-themed, as well as something that could be used as a home-away-fromhome vehicle or a camper to entertain family and friends. Although the Sprinter is not very distinctive from the outside, it is filled with striking contrasts of dark walnut and white inside. The interior is warm and organic, using every inch. The sofa’s front seats can be swiveled on a special base that conceals the dash. A pair of chairs can also be converted into a lounge.
This creates face-to-face seating that seats six people at the front of the van. You can set up two swivel tables, which creates a large workspace and a large dining table for all. The built-in wine rack can hold beverages while the kitchen prepares meals using a gas stove with two burners. A propane connection is available on the exterior for setting up a grill. There is also a small refrigerator underneath the stove to keep things cool. Walnut countertops can be covered with a sink and stove, increasing countertop space. There’s also a dish rack built in to keep everything organized while you drive. This van is ready to entertain.
The bathroom has a full bathroom, with a compost toilet, shower, and a sink. It looks beautiful, as does the rest of the interior. The elevated bed rests on top of a large garage below, but the skylight above it is truly special. The skylight opens to allow easy access to the rooftop terrace, which is ideal for relaxing outdoors. If that is not your thing, you can hang cool hammocks from the roof rack that hangs just above the ground. The on-board heating system keeps the occupants warm during cold nights. Heater vents in both the garage and bathroom keep them dry.
We are not sure where this van would take us. It’s a great choice for four-season vacations because of its unique exterior features and the luxurious, accommodating interior.
