The Mercedes-AMG GT’s taillights are used for the coupe.
As a tribute to the FSO Warsaw 20 of the 1950s, what was once a 2016 Ford Mustang GT Coupe has become a highly customized project. It was actually a Soviet GAZ M-20 Pobeda, which is widely considered to be the first mass-produced car made in Poland following the terrible World War II.
KHM Motor Poland, a company founded in 2013, created the modern tribute to honor the legacy of important Polish models. Polish citizens won’t see the Warszawa M20 GT much as the company plans to only convert ten pony cars annually, with taillights sourced directly from Mercedes-AMG GT.
The Mustang’s interior was also extensively modified by the company. It now features a redesigned centre console and a large touchscreen display that is portrait-oriented. It appears that there is cream leather almost everywhere, and only two central air ventilations instead of the original 3-vent system. To make way for the large screen, the upper portion of the dashboard was reshaped and most of the controls removed.
The Ford Mustang GT’s naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine produces 420 horsepower.
Here is the real story. According to Autogaleria, KHM Motor Poland presented the Warszawa M20 GT during the Economic Forum in Krynica. They claimed that the car received Ford’s stamp. The Blue Oval responded to this report, stating that it is simply not true.
The future of the car is still unknown, particularly since the company has had a poor start.
