They will be available for purchase starting June 6.
Bentley will announce a new line of grand touring models at 12:30 PM British Summer Time (7:30 am Eastern Daylight Time, or 11:30 am Greenwich Mean Time). The teaser video shows the red “S” that suggests these models could join the Bentayga S.
Bentley stated in the teaser video that:
“Bentley will demonstrate the breadth and choice available to customers by introducing a new range of Continental GT/GTC models that are focused both on driving performance as well as striking visual cues.”
If the Continental GT models and GT S models use the same recipe (gallery beneath) then they would be able to slot above regular versions, but not as hot as Speed variants. Bentley Dynamic Ride, an active anti-roll system that runs on the 48-volt electrical system, is included in the sporty package. To counteract lateral forces, it can produce 959 pound-feet (1.300 Newton-meters), of torque in 0.3 seconds.
Sport driving mode will be available on the S. This improves steering feel, throttle response, and stiffens suspension by 15%. The Bentayga model also comes with a performance exhaust.
You might find touches such as side sills and mirror caps in black on the body. Tinted taillights and headlights give the vehicle a darker appearance. The package might include a spoiler or other aerodynamic components.
The crossover’s powertrain is not modified by the S package. With this in mind, the Continental GT or GTC will come with the 4.0-liter twin turbo V8 producing 542 horsepower (404 Kilowatts) as well as 568 pound-feet (707 Newton-meters).
Recent spy photos also reveal that Bentley is working on a plug-in hybrid version of the Continental GT coupe. The PHEV may also be available for the convertible.
