BMW 3 Series gets 3 Special Editions and More Standard Kits

All 3 Series models will soon have LED fog lights and headlights.

While BMW is busy preparing the all new 3 Series which will be available sometime next year, the company doesn’t want to neglect the current car. It wants to maintain high demand and steady levels. The 3 Series is the most popular model in the company’s lineup. The lineup will soon include three special editions with a variety of cosmetic updates inside and outside.

The first is “Edition Sport Line Shadow”, and it can be distinguished visually by its black taillight inserts and headlights, as well as the black accents around the kidney grille. The lower air ducts are the same, while the exhaust tips are chrome black. This special edition features the Jet Black 18-inch wheels.

The interior features leather and fabric seats with dark aluminum carbon accents and pearl gloss chrome strips as trim pieces. A new contrasting seam is used on the instrument panel. Additionally, a modified cluster and a different steering wheel give it a sportier feel.

The second, called “Edition Luxury Line Purity”, features satin-finished aluminum accents. This includes the alloys of 17 inches and the larger 19-inch sets. This look can be found on the side windows and air duct inserts. The front grille, rear bumper covers, and exhaust finishers.

The cabin features a cognac leather interior with elegant wood trim, pearl gloss chrome strips and an elegant wooden trim. The new sports steering wheel is now available with contrasting stitching on the dashboard and additional features for the instrument cluster.

The “Edition M Sport Shadow”, which I personally love (especially in this 340i Touring guise), has black inserts for front and rear lighting clusters, as well as a black kidney grille and chrome black exhaust. You can also get 19-inch wheels with orbit grey and a double-spoke design for an extra cost.

BMW used the same pearl gloss chrome trim and dashboard contrast stitching for the interior. This is combined with a dark aluminum carbon trim.

The hardware upgrades are more important in this instance as the cars include the M sports suspension, aero pack, 18-inch M wheels, as well as a variety of other M-branded bits on the interior.

All 3Series models will soon get standard LED fog lights and headlights. Customers will soon be able to choose from a new Sunset Orange shade, as well as some of the novelty items that are part of those special editions. The touch-operated Control Display on the iDrive Professional navigation system completes the package.
