BMW has issued a recall and stop-sale on HTML5 and variants of the HTML8, X5 M and X6 M due to a problem in the transmission wiring harness. It is possible for the wiring harness to be damaged by improper routing or location. This could eventually cause a short circuit. This could lead to the gearbox shifting into neutral when someone is driving.
