BMW could build M4 Gran Coupe but not for a few yearsIf they are looking for a Bimmer with a better performance than the RS5 Sportback, they will need to wait a little longer.

You have two choices when it comes to a four-door M car: the M3 or the full-size . BMW enthusiasts are longing for a more direct competitor, such as an M4 Gran Coupe, with the new RS5 Sportback from Audi. It doesn’t appear that a four-door M4 will be available this year.

A new report from Motor.es states that the M4 will not get a four-door model. At least, not at this time. Fans have begged the brand to make a M4 Gran Coupe but it seems that they will wait a few more years before releasing it. The base of the M4 Gran Coupe is the F36 generation.

BMW will offer a BMW M4 Gran Coupe instead of the current platform. Instead, BMW will send off the sports car in a variety of special editions. We’ve already seen the M4 CS and the GTS, which are both more powerful. The company offers a Gran Coupe model if buyers really want a 4-Series liftback. However, its most powerful engine, the 320-horsepower, 440i, is available.

The M4 isn’t the only Bimmer to make a change. According to rumours, the M3 model could be retired as soon as this month. Bavarian automaker, BMW, is ending production of the current F80 model sooner than anticipated to concentrate on the next generation. Production is expected to begin in late 2019 or early 2020.

It is likely that the M4 will continue to be produced for some time. The production of the M4 is expected to continue through 2019, with the new M3 arriving on the market in 2019. We will have to wait to see if the four-door version of the M4 is available alongside the standard coupe.
