This is one super Retrovette.
The Chevy Corvette generation introduced the Sting Ray. It is obvious why. Personally, I prefer the C2 generation Vette. It is my favorite version in terms of styling.
This particular Corvette is a great choice if you are like me and love the 1960s Corvette design.
This 1967 Corvette, which is C2-looking, was built by CR Coachworks. It was originally a C6. The company, which specialises in retro-looking Corvettes, reworked the body. You’ll notice the words “We are committed to conserving the Corvette heritage” on the company’s Aboutpage. These guys are my friends.
The modifications by CR Coachworks include the obvious: a complete body rework with carbon fiber panels. It is sleek and looks very appealing. The company has perfected the rework, down to the last detail.
The cabin still retains its C6 styling, which means that it offers modern touches you would want in a car. These include motorized adjustments and color display infotainment. Keyless entry is also available. These are complemented by LED headlights on the exterior and vortex lights.
CR Coachworks is offering the build at $165,000, including the donor C6, but a sample is available at a BMW dealership in California at $148,777 as of the writing. The black-onblack ‘Vette is equipped with a 430-horsepower LS3 V8. It has 11,611 mi on the odometer.
