We get a sneak peak at its TFT dash.
BMW Motorrad India has been teasing the upcoming G 310 RR on social media since June 2022. It began with a glimpse at the taillight cluster and then “RR: The family’s ready to grow.” Keep watching.” The next step was to invite fans to guess the coming event. Next came a half-lifted garage that showed only the bottom third.
Next was high-adrenaline racing track footage. The text “Reveal Your Racing Attitude” was followed by the two “Rs” words neatly stacked on each other with both “Rs” written in red (while all the rest of text was in white). While OEMs may do a few teasers, BMW’s set the G 310 RR just kept coming until the final reveal.
The bookings for your new BMW G 310 RR have opened a few days back. We’ll also put the link in our Sources if we are in India. Although the full price of the vehicle has not been disclosed, BMW teasers state that monthly payments will be 3,999 rupees per year. This converts to $51.20 as of June 21, 2022.
The G 310 RR’s details are not yet available, but eager fans have been clamoring for them. It will likely have the same engine that the other HTML310s, although we don’t know how it will work. We do know that the screen will be a 5-inch TFT screen, as shown in the teaser. The styling is derived from the S 1000 RR, which is larger and more sinister than many expected.
BMW Motorrad India recently opened its G 310 R Riding Academy. Bookings are now open. It may be possible to bring your G 310 RR along to the Academy, or borrow one depending on how it is set up. These answers should be available shortly, but it is worth noting that the timing of these questions can be interesting.
We’ll share more details once we have them. It is expected to take place in India on July 15, 2022. However, it is not known if and when it will be available elsewhere in the world. We won’t be surprised if it appears in other markets, as the G 310s are very popular all over the world. Here’s hoping!
