Redesigned front and rear fascias for the i4 M Sport.
BMW arrived at Auto Shanghai 2021 bearing several models, although we’ve seen them before. It doesn’t mean that there weren’t any interesting models. The company displayed its latest-generation iDrive technology, and all-electric crossover along with a special-edition 7 Series. We also got our first glimpse at the BMW i4 Sport specification.
BMW did not disclose any details about the i4 M Sport line of equipment other than to say that it will be available in China and other countries. There are some visual differences between the M Sport and regular i4 models that can be noticed. The front bumper of the M Sport model is sportier and featuresNEWS larger intakes at its lower corners. The rear-end receives a similar upgrade. The lower diffuser extends further up the rear fascia. New side trim is also available for the i4 M Sport, which extends from the front vent to the rear door.
The BMW 7 Series Two-Tone will also be making an appearance in Shanghai. This limited-edition model is based on BMW M760Li XDrive’s 6.0-liter V12 motor. BMW will produce 25 examples of this model, but they’ll only be available in China. BMW combines Cashmere Silver metallic and Aventurine Red metal to create a striking exterior. The interior is designed to pamper the rear-seat passengers. The center console controls are accessed from the seatbacks, as well as the tray table that can be stowed. BMW did not specify when the 7 Series will go on sale.
The BMW i4 M Sport is not expected to arrive until the end of the year. The company has only shown the regular i4 in and we don’t know much about it. The company has not revealed performance numbers, but the M Performance model will sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) in four seconds. We believe the model will have an output of up to 523 horsepower (300kilowatts), so we expect it to be capable of a wide range. More information will be available in the coming months.
