The tailpipes are replaced by blue bumper accents.

The BMW iX3 is not a secret. The new model was first revealed at the Auto China 2018 motorshow. Since then, many details and technologies have been shared by the automaker. BMW didn’t hide anything in our latest spy photos – let’s not forget the leak from early March. BMW has not yet revealed the model but official images of the iX3 are rumored to have leaked online.

Two new images, which are embedded below, look like official press photos and were taken by the cochespias account. They show the iX3 parked next to some trees. Although it’s not an impressive shot, they show the surprising design. The iX3 seen in the new images looks identical to the one in the leaked older photo. All details match, including the grille, headlights and front fender vent, as well as the lower fascia and sharp crease at the sides. Even the blue accents match.Another leaked image shows us the model’s rear. There aren’t any surprises. BMW’s distinctive chunky taillights and a neat iX3 emblem are both present, although BMW wasn’t trying to hide them. The blue accents on the lower bumper serve as a substitute for the missing tailpipes and draw attention to the all-electric powertrain.

The iX3 will be powered by a 74-kilowatt hour battery and a single electric motor that produces 286 horsepower (210 kilowatts), and 296 poundfeet (405 Newton-meters) respectively. It also powers the rear wheels. The WLTP test in Europe gives it a range of 273 miles (405 kilometers). The U.S. EPA range is irrelevant for now as BMW stated last month that the company has no plans of bringing the iX3 to the U.S..
