BMW announced plans to sell an American M3 Lime Rock Park Edition. It comes in a Fire Orange exterior and features carbon fiber accents as well as a titanium exhaust.
BMW announced plans to offer the M3 Lime Rock Park Edition in America.
The special edition is named after the historic racing circuit and was co-developed by Skip Barber. It features a Fire Orange exterior and carbon fiber accents, as well as a titanium exhaust system.
Interior changes are limited, but the cabin has a flat-bottom steering wheel, Nappa leather trim and an individually-numbered plaque on the center console.
The Competition package, which includes electronic dampers as well as 19-inch alloy wheels, is available on the model.
The 4.0-liter V8 engine produces 414 horsepower (309 kW/ 420 PS) as well as 295 lbft (400 Nm). The car can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in 4.7 seconds, and reach a maximum speed of 155 MPH (250 km/h).
Production will be limited at 200 units, and prices start at $70 995.
