Let’s hope the grille doesn’t get so big.

This design’s most striking feature is its massive grille, which appears to be even bigger than those on the 7Serie and X7 crossovers. The rendering artist created raised sections in the top of the grille to make the huge openings work. The openings are comically large and don’t match with the otherwise subdued styling of the vehicle.

This render also shows subtly flared fenders. Although not visible in this render, spy photos show that there are dual exhausts at its back.

The new M3 is not very attractive, but don’t underestimate its power. According to current speculation, the new M3 will be equipped with a 3.0-liter twin turbo inline-six engine that produces 473 horsepower (352 megawatts) in standard configuration. A Competition version would produce 503 horsepower (375 kW).

This engine can be driven by either a seven-speed dual clutch transmission or a manual gearbox. Rumours also suggest that all-wheel drive may be an option instead of the rear-drive arrangement from the previous M3.
