Are your grilles beginning to grow?
The new BMW 4 Series has arrived. It’s quite a sight. Our reveal article, which was published just hours ago, already received a lot of comments, ranging from “BMW needs new designer” to “The new 4 Series front looks bold and powerful.”
There is a high chance that the 4 Series Coupe’s front end design will have an impact on other Bimmers. It won’t be on the 3 Series or 5 Series, but it is likely that the huge kidney grilles will be a key design element for the next-generation M4 as well as the 4 Series Convertible.
Our friend X-Tomi A pair of new renderings have been published by Hungary based on the 4 Series Coupe. The first depicts the M4 range-topping model with a more imposing front fascia, wider multi-spoke wheels and a distinct performance blue color. Another virtual drawing shows a plausible design for an open-top 4 Series Cabrio with folding cloth roof.
We have spy photos both cars and they are being considered. The 4 Series Coupe will go on sale worldwide from October with the base 430i model starting at $45,600 in America. We are likely at least one year away from the debut the new convertible M4, whereas the M4 has been confirmed for a September debut.
The 2021 4 Series Coupe’s most powerful model features a 3.0-liter turbo-six engine that is supported by 48-volt mild hybrid technology. The total output is 382 horsepower (285 Kilowatts) with 369 pound-feet (599 Newton-meters) twist. This allows for a 0-60mph time of only 4.3 seconds.
