In less than two months, the BMW M4 GTS exclusive edition sold out.

BMW will only make 700 of the M4 Coupe hardcore model, and all have been sold, despite an initial price of EUR142.600 (in Germany). This is almost twice the price of a regular M4 Coupe in Germany. In addition, buyers who are anxious can opt for the Clubsport Package, which includes a fire extinguisher and six-point harness as well as an Acid Orange rollbar.

We know that 300 units have been reserved for the US, 30 for the UK and 4 are headed to The Netherlands. The following exterior paint options are available to customers: Mineral Grey (Sapphire Black), Frozen Dark Grey (Alpine White), and Frozen Dark Grey (both in the US). BMW is more generous with its color palette this time, as the M3 Coupe GTS E92 was only available in Fire Orange.

The car’s main feature is its upgraded 6-cylinder turbocharged 3.0-liter turbocharged gasoline motor that benefits from water injection technology. The engine now produces 500 PS (368kW) and 600 Nm (442lb-ft), respectively. It is channeled exclusively to the rear wheels via a M DCT (7-speed). This hardware arrangement, combined with a weight loss of 62 kg, allows the M4 GTS to reach 62 mph (0-100 km/h), before reaching 190 mph (355 km/h) in 3.8 seconds.
