500 M3s with five classic colors are available in the US market.
50 years ago, exactly 50 year anniversary as of May 24, was a significant moment in the world of automotive performance. We know what has happened since the birth of BMW M. BMW has special M3 and M4 versions for different markets. They’re known as the Edition 50 Jahre BMW M, regardless of where you are.
You can also expect special BMWmotorsport logos to replace the usual roundels, regardless of where you live or what trim you choose. Special branding is used in the interior with Edition BMW M on door sills and special plaques on the console that identify the model as well as the production number. All interiors feature the classic BMW colors of red, blue, and navy. The exterior features edition-exclusive forged wheels, and a carbon fiber front splitter. Every model comes with an assortment of standard-issue M performance parts. For those who want to travel in style, a matching suitcase is available.
European buyers will be able to choose from an M4 in Carbon Black or Brands Hatch Grey. They also have the option of choosing from Imola Red and San Marino Blue. The hi-performance two door is available in China in Fire Orange or Stratus Grey. This is because BMW M’s 50th Anniversary happens during China’s Year of the Tiger.
There will also be an Edition 50 Jahr BMW M available for Canadian and US enthusiasts. The M3 will come in five colors and be available as a four-door model. M enthusiasts may get excited. Each color is a combination of five previous generations of the M3, starting with the E30’s Cinnabar Red. Techno Violet is from the E36 era, followed by Deep Interlagos Blue (E46 M3). Fire Orange III is from the Lime Rock Park Edition (E92 M3), and Limerock Gray was featured on F80.
It is worth noting that BMW has resurrected Techno Violet, Deep Interlagos Blue for this edition. This edition will be available only for 2023. BMW will make only 500 of these exclusive editions, which is why they are very limited.
The US market pricing for the BMW M3 Edition BMW M starts at $96,695, with a destination charge. Production will begin in July.
