Full-size luxury sedans do not necessarily need to be painted in boring colors.

It is safe to say that the BMW Abu Dhabi Motors team responsible for putting together new cars is trying to avoid boring colors. The M5 Competition in Rally Green, and Austin Yellow have been viewed in the last weeks. Now it’s time to take a look at this 7 Series in Purple Silk from BMW Individual. This 7 Series is not your average 7 Series. We are talking about the M760i with long-wheelbase specifications.

This high-end 7er is proof that the V12 badge at the rear pillar looks great in any color. It also has laser headlights, which are all part of the sporty and luxurious large sedan. Gray accents are used at the rear and front to contrast with the vibrant color. The optional 20-inch M-branded alloy wheels make it a great match.

Although the paint scheme is quite expensive, it’s still a good deal considering that the car starts at $156,700. Although the cabin lacks the exterior’s pizzazz, the dark wood trim looks great with the beige leather on the doors, seats, and center console. Just like every other M760i there is a subtle V12 badge near the gear lever to remind everyone that this isn’t an ordinary 7 Series.

Spy shots show BMW will be giving the 7 a midcycle refresh. This will also include a slight update for the V12 luxurybarge. You can expect more technology inside the cabin, including an expanded kidney grille as well as a sharper design for the headlights. In the coming months, an official unveiling is expected.
