After the success of X6 SAV, and confirmation of the X4, due in 2014 it is no surprise that BMW could bring the range down for an X2 version. This would fill the last gap in the X range.

We know that the 2-Series will replace the 1-Series coupe/convertible, and we also know that there will be an M2 and Gran Coupe variants. However, it is perhaps not surprising to see a 2-Series Active Tourer utility type.

The M10 badge, which is a sign of a new halo car, is particularly interesting. Recent positive comments from BMW brass indicate that the M7 could be closer than we think. However, rumors of a fully-fledged M7 7-Series have been around for many years.

This list gives an insight into BMW’s plans to expand its M Performance Automobiles line. The M300 and M400 models would fit just below the next-generation M3 sedan (F80), and M4 coupe (F82), in the same way that the M550d complements the M5, but the M35, M40, and M55 names would be M Performance Automobile model for X and Z cars.

Names for new technologies like CoolMode or LifeDrive, as well as an “i”, brand electric bicycle, will be used to refer to the new front-wheel-drive models that will be available starting next year.
